About the Role:

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Continuity Analyst. You will work under the direct supervision of more senior staff to maintain the organization-wide business continuity and resiliency program. Assist with maintaining crisis management procedures, business continuity training, and contingency plans for all business functions and applications. Provide analysis on business continuity projects and consult on readiness exercises and effectiveness of plans and components. Maintain a central repository of business continuity information and serve as the lead for business continuity technology, including mass communication. You will assist in supporting the Federal Reserve System.

You Will:

  • Develop, promote, and conduct programs to increase employee awareness of business continuity efforts in the District; including publishing/distribution of materials and hosting training opportunities. This includes new employee orientation, exercise/testing, and general employee preparedness.

  • Maintain the Business Continuity communication tools and technology.

  • Assist business areas with development and maintenance of business continuity plans.

  • Provide analytical support in evaluating and recommending business continuity strategies and solutions for business units, including cloud contingency.

  • Provide technical support for business continuity automation tools locally and for the System.

  • Assist with developing and facilitating training for users and stakeholders, including crisis management support for business areas and senior management.

  • Lead the maintenance and enhancement to business continuity plans by providing recommendations to business areas.

  • Write reports that clearly and accurately convey key points from stakeholder engagements and after-action reports following exercises and events.

  • Lead the development and maintenance of procedures and metrics.

  • Assist with development and tracking of risk metrics and organizes crisis management documents.

  • Assist with maintenance of business continuity teams and committees.

You Have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in emergency management or equivalent field of study is preferred; Business Continuity certification or procurement of is required

  • 2+ years experience implementing and managing business continuity or resilience for an organization or government entity.

  • Technical knowledge regarding software supporting business continuity as well as techniques used to ensure continuity and recovery of Information Technology (IT) systems

  • Knowledge of Business Continuity principles, practices, and industry standards

  • Familiarity with Information Security principles and practices including compliance

  • Broad knowledge of automation technology and testing procedures

  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Strong analytical and computing skills

  • Good administrative and organization skills, including experience and effectiveness in developing project plans

  • Strong time-management skills and effective goal and priority setting

  • Ability to collaborate with others in a professional manner

  • Ability to contribute to Federal Reserve System workgroups and projects

  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements

Notes:

This position may be filled at various levels based on candidate's qualifications as determined by the department.

This role allows for the employee to work in a hybrid manner with some work conducted onsite at the Federal Reserve work location and some work conducted remotely. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
