Adecco US, Inc. Construction and Real Estate Attorney in Dallas, Texas
Commercial & Real Estate Attorney Salary: Approximately $110k, based on experience
Location: Dallas, TX, In-office
Team Composition: One shareholder, one paralegal, one legal assistant
Adecco is proud to partner with a midsized law Firm in Downtown Dallas that is seeking to add an associate attorney to their team. They are seeking an attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial finance, real estate, and/or corporate litigation and transactional matters to join our Dallas office. The successful candidate will work with shareholders to represent banks, financial institutions, and borrowers in commercial loans and real estate transactions. The primary focus will be on complex commercial litigation, including civil disputes involving business torts, breach of contract, banking regulations, corporate governance, fraud, foreign judgments, injunctions, appeals, and real estate matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and analyze legal sources such as statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, constitutions, and legal codes
Manage all phases of discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery, electronic document production, and taking and defending depositions
Prepare legal briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and other necessary legal documentation
Formulate legal strategy and case management
Appear in court for status hearings and trials
Work closely with other attorneys and team members on legal matters
Communicate with clients and provide status reports
Minimum Qualifications:
JD degree from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas
3 to 5 years of prior experience practicing law
Comprehensive experience in civil litigation with a focus on commercial finance, real estate, and/or corporate litigation and transactional matters
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience handling a large volume of cases in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage a caseload independently and responsibly
Willingness to travel as needed

Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year
