Description
The ideal candidate will have a background in food manufacturing, restaurants or manufacturing. this person will be responsible for cost accounting, month end close, journal entries, reconciliations and inventory. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong standard cost accounting background.
Interested professionals must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance or related area 5-7+ years of extensive accounting and finance experience.

Responsibilities:
Implement cost control measures to enhance profitability.
Analyze production costs and identify areas for cost reduction.
Oversee all financial operations of the manufacturing plant including cash management, AR and AP processing functions.
Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve business goals.
Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide insights for improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the manufacturing industry
Must have a deep understanding of Manufacturing Cost Accounting
Proficiency with Cost Accounting is required
Experience with Month End Close activities is necessary
Must be able to prepare and analyze Journal Entries
Proficiency in managing a General Ledger
Experience with System Implementation is a plus
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary
Must have a strong attention to detail and accuracy
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
