Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Controller in the heart of North Dallas, Texas. This position is within the telecom industry, where you will oversee software integration and manage accounting functions. This role requires the implementation of policies and procedures and entails the management of a team of accountants and bookkeepers.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and integrating software systems to streamline accounting functions

• Ensuring strong "nuts and bolts" accounting practices are adhered to

• Acting as a "player coach" in overseeing and guiding the accounting team

• Leveraging experience in government contracting to meet industry-specific requirements

• Working with 3rd party tax and audit professionals to ensure compliance

• Implementing and enforcing accounting policies and procedures

• Overseeing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations

• Drawing on experience in a Controller role to guide financial decision-making

• Managing a team of 8 accountants and 3 bookkeepers.

Skills required:

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solutions

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Understanding of Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) regulations

• Ability to manage various accounting functions

• Expertise in auditing and budget processes.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary

• Familiarity with DCAA is essential

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is needed

• Ability to work with ERP Solutions is required

• Proficient in executing Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is needed

• Knowledge of Auditing processes is essential

• Familiarity with Budget Processes is required
