Voyig LLC Manufacturing Engineer in Dallas, Texas

Overview

Quality Sausage is seeking aManufacturing Engineerfor the Dallas, TX facility!

Responsibilities

  • Manage site CAPEX portfolio and investment plan for sustainability and expansion projects

  • Conduct feasibility study for potential investment projects including. business cases

  • Ensures safe execution of capital projects from concept to handover and commissioning according to Quality Sausage HSE Standards

  • Plan, execute, and track project progress in accordance with budget and schedule

  • Assist in staffing the respective project team as needed.

  • Develop collaboration with key engineering partners within Quality Sausage as well as external vendors.

  • Communicate actively with all involved parties of the organization, including reporting on project/schedule/cost and escalation of issues

  • Ensure adherence to quality and engineering standards

  • Support improvement projects on site by working and monitoring compliance to applicable practices policies, and specifications

  • Manage and perform the overall proactive quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance etc.)

  • Verify and approve key project milestones, i.e. Mechanical Completion / Final construction 'as-built' documentation

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or a related field. Preference given to degrees in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a similar discipline.

  • Extensive working experience with CAPEX projects for manufacturing facilities.

  • Must have a history of direct reports, training other engineers, and/or have led a team in a manufacturing environment.

  • At least 5+ years of working experience in project management and/or commissioning in the Food & Beverage industry.

  • Must have a track record of working on multi-million-dollar projects.

  • Professional Engineering (PE) licensure in the state of Texas (TX) is encouraged but not required.

  • Good understanding of change management and process risk analysis as well as maintenance.

  • Must demonstrate an innovative & focused approach to identify and implement procedure to achieve project objectives.

  • Must foster and adhere to a structured & rigorous approach to establishing effective coordination to that ensures safe, reliable, efficient, and sustainable project execution.

  • Ability to lead and influence a diverse team without direct line responsibility, including technical experts and senior staff.

  • Communicates clearly and regularly with all project stakeholders.

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish.

  • Expert in AutoCAD 2D/3D modeling
