Lockheed Martin Overhaul Repair Front Line Supervisor in Dallas, Texas

Description: The Work

•Supervise a team of Direct Reports that work on the shop floor at the Sikorsky RMS Grapevine Overhaul and Repair Center specifically for the Operations (Manufacturing) Department.

•Coordinate daily activities to maximize production, set priorities, manage expectations and improve efficiency.

•Responsible for coordinating, monitoring and documenting direct reports training, work performance, quality of work and disciplinary actions.

•Communicate with peers across shifts and work with supporting departments i.e. Production Control, Engineering, Quality, Materials, Tooling and Safety.

•Monitor, adjust changes, and complete time cards for direct reports.

•Oversee direct report attendance and labor charging.

Basic Qualifications:

• Associates Degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.

• Five years of leadership experience in a manufacturing facility.

• Strong communication skills and ability to build respectful working relationships.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Flexible with shift times and must work weekends onsite when on duty.

• Ability to administer coaching, mentoring, disciplinaries and regular performance evaluations without bias or prejudice.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of Overhaul and Repair.

• Knowledge of Composite and Paint Process.

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement

• Familiarity with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) reporting, investigating, resolving, maintaining and implementing improvements.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
