Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous Paralegal to be a part of our team. In this role, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of handling complex commercial litigation cases, ensuring all legal documents are accurate and in line with federal law. This role is based in Dallas, Texas, and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle client intake efficiently

• Draft and review pleadings, discovery shells, and correspondence as required

• Thoroughly review trial, discovery, and appellate documents for substance

• Ensure all legal documents are proofread, citation-checked, and accurate

• Communicate effectively with outside counsel, third parties, and opposing counsel on matters related to discovery

• Liaise with the court as required

• Conduct limited legal research and develop case background

• Manage all dockets and discovery-related items effectively

• Schedule meetings and manage calendars as required

• Enter and manage billing on a weekly basis

• Use Case Management Software for effective case handling and briefing

• Familiarity with State Laws and Federal Law is essential in handling complex commercial litigation cases

• Calendar management skills are crucial for scheduling meetings and managing calendars as needed.

This role is a great opportunity for someone with a solid understanding of courts - federal and complex commercial litigation. Requirements • Proficiency in Case Management Software is required.

• Must have a strong ability to perform Briefing tasks effectively.

• Experience with Calendar Management is essential.

• Familiarity with Federal Courts procedures and protocols is necessary.

• Understanding and knowledge of Federal Law is a must.

• Compliance with State Laws is mandatory.

• Must have experience in handling Complex Commercial Litigation.
