Those in local taxes at PwC will focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on local tax matters. Your work will involve analysing and interpreting local tax laws and regulations, assisting businesses in complying with local tax requirements and optimising their local tax positions.

The Opportunity
As part of the State and Local Tax team you assist clients in solving business issues related to business restructuring, adoption of new tax laws, and communicating local tax developments. As a Senior Manager you are tasked with leading large projects, innovating processes, and maintaining operational excellence while interacting with clients at a senior level to drive project success. You are also responsible for developing and sustaining client relationships and mentoring staff members.

What You Must Have
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation
5 years of experience
CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

Master's Degree preferred
Demonstrates profound abilities with FAS 109, unitary filing, apportionment methodologies
Developing and sustaining client relationships using networking, negotiation, and persuasion skills
Preparing and presenting complex written and verbal information
Defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collection
Acting as a team leader, supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust

The salary range for this position is: $119,300 - $328,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
