Adecco US, Inc. Material Handler in Danbury, Connecticut

Warehouse Worker - Material Handler is needed for our Danbury client. Pay $18 - $21hr - Temp-to-Hire opportunity

Immediate opening

Responsibilities for the Warehouse Worker - Material Handler include:

  • Loading and unloading different transport items

  • Receive all incoming materials

  • Cut up bar stock and organize by color coding

  • Pull products from inventory and move to necessary dept

  • Contributes to orderly operation of storage area

  • Assist in moving product through the plant in a timely manner

  • Some general labor around the plant - clean machines, work areas etc

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma/GED required

  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job

  • Min of 1 yr exp material handling or similar position

  • 6 mo exp in inventory management preferred

  • Some exp with MRP/ERP systems

  • Use of warehouse eqmt including pallet jack

  • Organizational skills

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment

Temp-to-Hire position - Immediate opening!

Hours are 7am - 3:30pm, Mon - Fri with possible OT on Saturday

Pay rate is $18 - $21 hr.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
