Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center Certified Athletic Trainer in Danville, Kentucky
Under direction of the Director of Rehabilitation Services with collaboration from the Danville School’s Athletic Director, the ATC provides sports medicine services/rehabilitation services within the scope of his/her certification, under the supervision of the team physician to student athletes desiring services from the ATC. Under the supervision of the team physician, the ATC provides sports medicine services including: prevention, assessment, management and treatment of injuries, education and counseling to coaches and student athletic trainers all within the scope of his/her certification. The ATC acts as the liaison between the Danville Schools and the EMH Rehabilitation Services Department. Exhibits the F.I.R.S.T. Values Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).
