City Wide Facility Solutions CBS Sales Executive in Darien, Illinois

The Commercial Building Solutions Sales Executive (CBSSE) is responsible for new business development and project management in a highly productive, sales-driven environment. The CBSSE will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from lead generation to close, as well as project management from bid to completion for non-janitorial building services. Working closely with members of the Sales Team, the CBSSE will establish and nurture mutually profitable business relationships with clients and contractors.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify potential clients, leads and referrals resulting in sales that meet or exceed goals within a defined geographic area.

  • Develop & strengthen relationships with Centers of Influence to promote returning business and reoccurring revenues (Property Managers & General Contractors).

  • Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments, understanding job requirements, and making initial presentations.

  • Close sales by building rapport with potential clients, explaining our service capabilities, overcoming objections, and preparing contracts.

  • Promote products and services to clients, negotiates contracts and terms aimed at achieving company goals and values, while managing risk (financial and reputational).

  • Maintain required activity standards to include conducting a minimum number of prospecting calls, cold call visits and lunch and learn opportunities.

  • Utilize and manage customer relationship management system (CRM) to maintain all client and lead and customer project information.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.

  • Strong market knowledge and the ability to identify new business opportunities.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals.

  • Strong account management skills to build and maintain long-term client relationships.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.

  • “Hunter” sales acumen; competitive spirit, goal driven and self-motivated.

  • Problem-Solving skills – ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work related situations.
