DESCRIPTION
Summary of the course:
The PFR Apprentice role is a developmental position within the CBS Accounting Services Team. During the apprenticeship you will work 5 days per week, inclusive of 1 day per week for study at Kaplan Financial. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm (with flexibility to suit business needs). On completion of this apprenticeship, you will obtain a professional accountancy qualification.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Completing Month End Activities to assist with production of monthly financial statements.
Building and maintaining relationships with external and internal customers, other finance disciplines and work teams
Cost analysis and preparation of variance explanations through investigation and communication with the wider business
Assist with the monthly forecasting process for CBS Europe
Make accounting adjustments through appropriate journal entries.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects within the team.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Obtained Level 4 AAT
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a relevant accounting role
Proficient IT and MS Office skills are essential.
Excellent Communication skills and ability to work in a proactive manor.
