Robert Half is in search of a diligent Senior Accountant to join our client's team in the Dayton, New Jersey area. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial activities of our organization, including preparing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. You will work closely with the finance team and other departments to support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts

• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes

• Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported

Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Extensive experience in maintaining and managing General Ledger

• Ability to perform Journal Entries accurately and efficiently

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial data processing and analysis

• Experience in Month End Close procedures and practices

• Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field

• Previous experience in a similar role or in a senior accounting position

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is advantageous but not mandatory

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
