Epsilon C5I is seeking intelligent, creative self-starters who are majoring in Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines for internship opportunities in our Beavercreek, OH office.

These will be full-time paid internship opportunities awarded on a competitive basis. The summer intern assignments will begin in late May/early June following the completion of the school year and last through mid-August. The successful candidate(s) will be provided with hands-on experience working with members of our professional Engineering Team on technically oriented projects related to computer science and computer engineering to support DOD and IC customers. You can expect to deliver a kickoff briefing and a final accomplishments briefing of your project, any software developed and supporting documentation related to the project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and testing of software solutions, algorithmic processes, and applications to support related DOD and IC customer requirements.
Will need to document all software solutions developed to include user guide, algorithm descriptions and computer end items.
Examples include the design and development of software systems, analysis of algorithms to solve technical problems, the study of software performance, and software solution optimization.
Security Requirements:
Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for a TS/SCI government security clearance.
Required Qualifications:
Emphasis on emerging Juniors and Seniors pursuing degrees in engineering, science, or mathematics.
Must work well both in a team environment, as well as independently.
Must have strong research, writing and communication skills.
Must have excellent computer skills and experience formatting, graphs, diagrams, and tables.
Must be a full-time student at an accredited, U.S. college or university.
Must have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement.
Local candidates preferred.
Desired Project-specific skillsets sought:
Individual completed junior year of studies.
Knowledge of Python, Matlab, C, or C++.
Computer engineering or computer science major with AI/ML, software/hardware integration, security, database systems, vision/graphics, numerical analysis course work.
Previous internship experience highly desirable.
