BOOZ ALLEN HAMILTON INC FPGA Development, Analysis, and Verification Engineering Consultant in Dayton, Ohio

Job Number: R0193199 FPGA Development, Analysis, and Verification Engineering Consultant Key Role: Support critical government research and development programs related to microelectronics design and verification. Work with industry-leading engineers in world-class research facilities to impact national security investment through the new development of military applications for cutting-edge technologies. Maintain and leverage technical expertise and build lasting relationships in serving clients. Provide technical and programmatic advice and support services for a range of advanced systems, sensor, and computer processing technologies and programs. Assist the government with technical assessments, strategic planning, and engineering evaluations. Support the design, development, testing, fielding, and sustainment of advanced microelectronics systems and associated trust and assurance programs. Demonstrate technical expertise in the analysis and design of integrated circuits for critical technologies for the DoD. Provide technical management support and strategic assessments of new technologies to support senior DoD decision-makers, including conducting background research in evaluating the feasibility of and potential applications for new technological concepts. Produce and present findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients, assist with technical program management and program development, and brief materials for government research and development efforts. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with FPGA development and FPGA research across multiple device families and platforms Experience with verification methodologies and test benches Experience with performing security research for device types, including FPGAs and SoCs Experience with Xilinx Vivado Experience working with clients or customers to perform detailed performance and security verification of their designs Ability to obtain a security clearance Bachelor's degree Additional Qualifications: Experience with performing verification for Defense microelectronics systems Experience with Universal Verification Methodology Experience with Digital Signal Processing mathematics and methods of verifying with MATLAB and implementing in synthesizable HDL Experience with benchtop equipment, including Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Arbitrary Waveform Generator, or Vector Signal Generator Knowledge of commercial RF and digital component and assembly distributors for rapid FPGA prototyping purposes Ability to teach others and lead a technical team standing up new verification capabilities and infrastructure Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Secret clearance Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred; Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering a plus Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
