Responsibilities MTSI is looking for someone with a background in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Human Machine Interface (HMI) or autonomous systems HMI. Experience with safety critical HMI, supporting multi-platform deployments, usability and human factors are highly sought after. Responsible for overseeing the development of various ground control station and pilot vehicle interfaces to support semi-autonomous operations of teams of unmanned aircraft. Ensure coherent integration of autonomy functions with human control utilizing best practices in human-machine integration. Work in a multi-organizational environment to guide and assess multiple HMI/PVI solutions in a relevant domain. Requires strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to assess, guide, and constructively evaluate HMI/PVI solutions provided by multiple organizations. Qualifications Must have 5+ years of experience Demonstrate a strong background and knowledge across multiple disciplines to integrate technologies needed to develop, test, and deploy human machine interfaces in simulation and live test. Possess knowledge of Group 4/5 UAS operations, air combat domain experience, and familiarity with aviation operations in civil and military airspace. Demonstrated experience with evaluation of HMI/PVI systems in simulation and test, including virtual simulation, live flight and pilot/operator integrated evaluation. Education Requirements: REQUIRED: B.S.
