Responsibilities Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to: * Transition RF and EW-related objective architectures from AFRL to the Air Dominance Architecture and Systems Engineering Group portfolio * Perform technical leadership of an industry consortium as a CLIN lead * Work with adopting programs and operational users to implement and field capability using open architectures * Performing the role Senior Software Engineer across multiple acquisition efforts, to include: design, development, integration, test, deployment * Continuous improvement of open architectures to meet customer needs * Demonstrate skill sets in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python or protobuf * Experience with modern commercial software development practices and tools such at: AGILE, Kanban, Git, Artifactory, Cucumber, Atlassian, Jenkins, etc. * Knowledge with Linux OS, such as: RedHat (RHEL), CentOS, etc. * Experience with container frameworks and orchestration, such as: Kubernetes, K8s, Docker, Singularity, OCI, etc. * Proficient at hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets * Familiarity with digital engineering best practices, to include use of model-based system engineering approaches. * Assisting in development of RFP packages and other technical documentation for competition and acquisition of new systems * High-level familiarity with open system design concepts and open architectures * Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment * Strong oral and written communication skills * Self-starting, charge-the-hill mentality to deliver mission capability at the speed of need Qualifications * 2+ years' experience in the DoD working special access programs within the last 4 years * 6-8+ years' of experience in software engineering or a closely related field * Experience working with or within open architecture vendor consortiums * Proficiency with Model-Based Sys
