Responsibilities The Expert Propulsion Engineer provides technical insights, advice, design, and testing expertise to support aircraft engine integration. Should have experience partnering with a multidisciplinary engineering team to help understand propulsion performance and technology impacts to the overall design to achieve design, build, and test tasks to field aircraft on a rapid timeline. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Contribute to the design and analysis of the integration of aircraft engines on air vehicles to ensure that requirements are met. * Support the design and integration of propulsion technologies, tools, and processes to enhance readiness, improve installed engine performance, and reduce cycle time and cost. * Advise and reviews propulsion performance analysis to understand impacts of design changes to better inform design trades. * Assist with development of technology and performance test requirements of installed engine performance. * Conduct rigorous technical assessments to accurately characterize hazards to inform airworthiness decisions and certifications. Qualifications Preferred/Desired Experience: * Minimum 20 years of aircraft engine development and integration experience.
