In this position...

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Enterprise Architecture Leader to drive strategic technology initiatives within our organization. As the Enterprise Architecture Leader, you will be responsible for shaping and executing technology strategies that align with our business objectives and drive innovation across the enterprise.

This Enterprise Architecture Leader will spearhead all architecture activities for Project Synergy, the digital transformation of Ford’s Industrial Systems domain. This role involves developing and implementing architecture frameworks to drive process, data and technology synergies across the Industrial landscape.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multiple architecture disciplines including information, data and technology architecture, a deep understanding of engineering, supply chain and manufacturing technologies, and a proven track record of leading technology transformation in the manufacturing sector.

Although we may consider remote candidates, we have a strong preference for candidates who are able to work onsite in a hybrid capacity, approximately 2-3 days per week in Dearborn, MI. Remote candidates must be available to work EST hours and travel approximately one week/month to Dearborn, MI.

What you'll do…

  • Develop and implement enterprise-wide technology architecture strategies for the Synergy program in alignment with business goals.

  • Lead the design and maintenance of enterprise architecture models and frameworks to support business processes and information flow.

  • Collaborate with senior business and IT leadership to create technology roadmaps that drive business transformation and growth.

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.

  • Lead information architecture efforts to drive data standardization and master data management solutions.

  • Drive continuous improvement in technology processes and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in all technology initiatives.

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience

  • 15+ years of IT Software and Technology Delivery experience

  • 3+ years of architecture leadership roles across multiple architecture disciplines, with at least one project driving a technology transformation.

  • 3+ years of experience working within a large enterprise, preferably in the automotive or similar industry.

Even better, you may have...

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field

  • Proven experience in architecture leadership roles across multiple architecture disciplines, with a track record of driving technology transformation.

  • Strong understanding of architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.

  • Certification in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF) is a plus.

  • Experience in manufacturing industry-specific technology solutions is desirable

  • GCP experience

  • Automotive industry experience
