An Electrified Powertrain Controls Software Engineer will create, implement, and validate the software algorithm that controls a wide array of Electrified Vehicles functionalities. The controls and software span the scope of High Voltage Charging, Climate Controls, Energy & Power Management, Electric Machine Torque Control, High Voltage Component Controls, and many others.

What you'll do.. .

  • Collaborate in a multi-functional environment to define requirements for Electrified Powertrain Controls functionality.

  • Design control algorithm in C-code

  • Develop unit tests to validate software in Unity/Ceedling and/or SIL

  • Maintain software documentation and requirements, calibration crib-sheets, install guides, and release notes for each software release

  • Develop software DV tests and acceptance criteria and document in DVP&R

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related degree or foreign equivalency degree, or a combination of equivalent experience and education.

  • 1+ in C software development

Even better, you may have...

  • Master's degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related degree or foreign equivalency degree,

  • Experience with electrified powertrain controls

  • Experience with Jira, Unity/Ceedling, GitHub, Agile

  • 3+ years of experience with embedded control software and design experience

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8 .
