AFS Compliance Officer - Chicago, IL

This is an exempt level position.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a compliance officer that will support our wholly owned subsidiary, Archer Financial Services, Inc. (“AFS”) a registered Introducing Broker (IB) with the National Futures Association. This position reports to the IB Director and will work closely with the ADMIS Compliance Department in implementing and overseeing compliance responsibilities for AFS. They may interact with various departments including ADMIS and ADM global affiliates, clearing exchanges, brokers and customers. We have a strong team that works well together. Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and conduct surveillance to help ensure regulatory compliance

  • Review compliance policies and procedures with brokers and recommend further training when warranted

  • Assist with regulatory inquiries

  • Assist with client onboarding and documentation maintenance

  • Perform testing and reviews of activities against compliance policies and procedures

  • Assist in managing and documenting internal reviews and filings

  • Assist with special projects as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field

  • 5+ years of experience in a compliance analyst role

  • Advanced technical skills including Excel, Access and SQL

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Ability to work with globally diverse teams

  • Able to communicate in oral and written form with all levels of the organization

  • Experience in a collaborative culturally diverse and inclusive environment

  • Demonstrated technical and team leadership skills capable of managing a team to accomplish assigned projects

  • Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values
