Robert Half Project Management Assistant in Deer Park, New York

Description

We are seeking APM and Project Management professionals for several of our trusted construction clients, located in Suffolk County. Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Project Management team to understand project specifications and needs

• Assist with the preparation and processing of construction documents and drawings

• Manage commercial construction projects, ensuring all billing procedures are followed accurately

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of construction terminology and processes

• Support the Project Management team, showing eagerness to learn and contribute to team success

• Work in an in-office setting, collaborating with a diverse team of professionals

• Utilize construction software for project tracking and management

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all tasks

• Address any billing inquiries from clients, providing excellent customer service

• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement within the billing function.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience on Project Management teams within the Construction or Contractor industry

• Proficient in handling Construction Documents and Construction Drawings

• Proven experience in managing Commercial Construction Projects

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficient in using computer software and applications related to billing and accounting

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with various departments

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Must have a customer service approach

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification required.
