Skill and/or experience in boiler operations, preventive maintenance, and basic repair procedures is desired. Minimum Qualifications for this position include: *High school diploma or GED. *Post-secondary training in a trade is desirable. *Keeps current with technology and other workplace innovations that support job functions. *Knowledge about building systems (e.g., HVAC, fire suppression, security, communication, etc.). *Ability to read, understand, and comply with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). *Holds or is qualified to obtain a pesticide application license if needed. *Holds or is qualified to obtain a bus driver license. *A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment. *Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies. Coverage of extracurricular activities may be required.
