The main portion of their job duties includes:serving alcoholic beverages, serving food, providing excellent customer service, and keeping bills and tabs organized. A cocktail waitress needs to be personable, attentive, and able to communicate effectively in order to provide the best service for their customers. Handling guests at the bar, clearing and setting tables, serving food, handling cash and credit card charges, communicating room charges to Front Desk. Serving alcohol, stocking and cleaning the bar, and coordinating guest requests are the primary functions of the job.
