As a Manufacturing Quality Representative ,   you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and research and for resolving all issues concerning products or services, both at the plant and in the field.  In addition, this position will c onduct studies and provide analyses to measure level of quality and service and recommend and implement actions aimed at improvements. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Primary Responsibilities

  • Systematically and proactively expand and improve the plant quality assurance program, through developing, maintaining , coordinating, and implementing systems and procedures. 

  • Maintain and develop reports to measure quality and service levels, while providing analysis and action plans to improve performance. 

  • Upgrade, perfect maintain quality standards in all departments as needed. 

  • Conduct field audits, research issues, and communicate findings and recommendations, in both Manufacturing and Homebuilding. 

  • Maintain detailed understanding of plant products, processes, blueprints, quality standards, construction methodology , etc. 

  • Resolve all questions and issues from Homebuilding Operations, while providing a high level of communication and timely resolution. 

  • Troubleshoot product quality issues and work closely with Homebuilding, ASD and Field Coordinators on items identified for PARs. 

  • Integrate shop floor personnel and quality team member’s efforts to understand and meet the customers’ quality expectations. 

  • Coordinate and manage special projects as directed and be proficient in submitting PARs.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.  

  • 3+ years’ experience in construction or quality control.  

  • Ability to read construction blueprints .

  • Knowledge of technical aspects of construction, preferred.

  • Ability to develop relationships and engage with internal customers to understand and address their needs and create a best-in-class customer service experience

  • Communicates effectively, both verbally and written

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, determine solutions, and drive results to produce desired outcome. 

  • Results driven with the ability to work under pressure, navigate through change, and balance multiple priorities.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint ).

  • Ability to work adjusted hours, travel to job sites on a regular basis, and attend out-of-state training, as needed.  

  • Good driving record and updated driver's license.
