Description We are in the process of hiring an Accounting Clerk based in Denver, Colorado, 80223-3411, United States. This role primarily involves managing accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and account reconciliation in a telecom provider setting.

Responsibilities:

• Managing accounts payable activities including matching, batching, coding, and entering invoices

• Overseeing accounts receivable matters by entering, posting, and reconciling batches

• Addressing and resolving accounts payable or accounts receivable issues with customers or vendors

• Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to the general ledger

• Handling cash applications, account reconciliations, and chargebacks

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry and other tasks

• Regularly updating and maintaining accurate customer credit records

• Processing customer credit applications

• Monitoring customer credit accounts to identify delinquent payments and taking appropriate action. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Solid understanding and experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Billing procedures

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks

• Ability to handle Invoice Processing effectively

• Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations

• Knowledge of accounting software and systems.
