Broad Function: Under the direction of a Manager, a Supervisor is accountable for ensuring that assigned production areas meet daily, weekly and monthly safety, quality and delivery goals. A Supervisor supervises the performance and training of all employees in the work area and addresses individual performance issues, as needed. A Supervisor is responsible for ensuring employee adherence to all Company policies and procedures. Supervisors must proactively communicate with all members of the management team to ensure a timely, accurate flow of information about the performance of areas and employees under their direct supervision. A Supervisor is the primary management point of contact and resource for production operators.

This position will support our Assembly area on second shift. 2nd shift assembly hours are 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM. The supervisor will be expected to have some schedule flexibility. The work location is 10720 Bradford Rd., Littleton, CO.

Duties and Responsibilities: Environmental, Health, and Safety Ensure that employees adhere to all established safety requirements - wearing appropriate PPE, utilizing guarding devices on equipment properly, reporting unsafe conditions. Promptly report all work related injuries to their Process Manager. Support the investigation and corrective action processes as appropriate. Responsible for compliance with all environmental regulations - proper labeling of chemicals, waste materials, containers remain closed, transported to appropriate storage areas in a timely fashion etc. Takes appropriate corrective action for deficiencies. Ensure employees complete scheduled training programs. Serve as a member of the Emergency Respon

Quality Ensure that employees are following established operating procedures when processing product, and that equipment is operated within expected control limits. Participate in root cause identification, along with corrective actions for quality issues identified within assigned areas. Ensure employees have appropriate training for assigned job responsibilities. Maintains training matrix for assigned areas. Responsible for cross training within assigned area.

Productivity Assures adherence to daily production schedules and Dispatch List priorities. Monitor throughput daily, identifying root causes for not attaining throughput goals, develop and execute corrective actions. Assigns resources as needed to achieve production goals.

Personnel Ensure team members have appropriate tools to complete job responsibilities. Ensure personnel receive appropriate training for safety, quality, and productivity. Provide input for employee evaluations, coaching, and recognition activities. Mentor new hires. Facilitate the continuous development of team members to build continued success in our operations. Monitor employee adherence company policies.

Continuous Improvement Participate in structured continuous improvement efforts. Ensure 6S standards are maintained in assigned areas.

Knowledge and Skills:

Computer skills: MS Office, Outlook, and basic knowledge of MRP and HRIS systems

Ability to teach and train others as required in the organization. Leadership skills, ability to motivate coworkers.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requires ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Working knowledge and application of SPC and ISO standards.

Must have the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Education and Experience: Education High School Diploma or GED. Associate's degree in an operations field preferred. Experience Required Experience 3+ years of related experience. Previous assembly knowledge.
