Civil Construction Project Superintendent

Department: Dirt and Utility Job Status: Full Time/Weather Dependent. FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: Cody Anderson / Samuel Snyder Grade/Level: Salary $105,000 to $120,000 D.O.E Amount of Travel Required: None Positions Supervised: Site Development

Work Schedule Monday through Friday 7:00am to 5:30pm, Saturdays likely during peak season. Hours and days can vary based upon Owner/GC Requirements and workload.

Elite Surface Infrastructure Overview Elite Surface Infrastructure (ESI) is a growing company located in Englewood Colorado and has been working along the Colorado front range since 1998. ESI is one of the largest construction companies in Colorado that self-performs a variety of services including Underground Utilities, Milling, Asphalt, Paving, Grading, Concrete, and Earthwork for Infrastructure and Infrastructure Improvement Projects in the commercial, municipal, and federal sectors.

POSITION SUMMARY Oversees and managing all aspects of project operations, including managing crews. This position is responsible for maintaining a professional relationship with customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Schedules and supervises daily activities of personnel, including preparing and submitting daily timesheets, progress reports, code receipts and/or invoices, track change of conditions that impact contract cost and sched Ordering materials and equipment for work on projects. Work with scheduling department to ensure proper manpower and equipment needs are available and provided for project. Ensuring work conforms to applicable plans and specification. Supervise and direct proper safety standards for crews. Ability to read plans and specifications that govern work. Work alongside crews to complete construction projects safely and within contract requirements. Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems. Maintain ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and qualify for company auto insurance.

SKILLS & ABILITIES Other Requirements: Clean Driving record and the ability to pass a background investigation, and drug screening. Able to access State & Federal Facilities.

REQUIREMENTS High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Valid Driver's License Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening. Meet the requirements under FMCSA for a qualified driver to operate a Commercial vehicle and meet the requirements under FMCSA for a qualified driver to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle which include Part 391.11 Subpart B (b)(2) "Can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records". (CDL NOT required)

OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (hard hat, eye and ear protection, safety vest, gloves, dust mask or respirator, fall protection gear, etc.). Ability to work in varying outdoor weather conditions.
