Dataprise Deal Desk Specialist in United States

About the Role: We are seeking a full-time associate to assist with a range of service/support contracts, sales support, and sales administration roles.  The  Deal Desk Specialist  will report to the General Manager and will work daily with Account Executives, Administration and Customers.  

 

This position will provide service contract sales and administration support, advice, recommendation, and maintenance for our diverse client base. This person should be self-motivated and have strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.  The successful candidate will have in-depth experience with CRM. The ideal candidate will also provide exceptional customer service and consistently achieve customer satisfaction.  We have a strong mentoring approach to help you build skills and confidence. 

This position must work Mountain Standard Time hours

What You’ll Do:  

  • Service, contract and license management. 

  • Work with manufacturer and vendor sales and quote resources to create client quotes. 

  • Work daily with customers to improve customer service, perception and satisfaction. 

  • Create customer quotes, quote presentation and sales orders. 

  • Tracking customer IT assets for renewal and end-of-life. 

  • IT software subscription management. 

  • Field customer requests, quotes and sales for small IT equipment, software and licensing. 

  • Manage and coordinate contract management requests/tickets to ensure courteous, timely and effective resolution. 

  • Escalate and coordinate service requests to sales team and engineering team associates. 

  • Support Account Executive Statement of Work (SOW) research and creation. 

  • Assist Account Executives with SOW template management. 

  • Assist with processing sales opportunities within CRM. 

  • Pursue ongoing technical sales training within our industry segments.   

What Skills & Experience You’ll Need:  

  • In-depth experience with IT tools including Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and CRM. 

  • Strong customer service and customer satisfaction skills. 

  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively directly, through video conferencing, email and instant messaging. 

  • Work with, and enhance, contract/licensing systems and processes for 100% accuracy. 

  • Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills. 

  • Develop professional customer rapport and maintain dynamic and professional demeanor and presence with customers and co-workers. 

  • The capability to escalate issues as needed to technical and non-technical co-workers and management. 

  • A strong desire for long-term professional development and growth within a dynamic, national organization. 

  • Previous experience within Managed Services and/or the IT industry preferred.  

  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies, including taking and passing certification exams. 3-5 years of experience in the IT industry, particularly in a customer sales or sales support role 

  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism and organization.

  • We have a comprehensive Compensation Management System which establishes the guidelines we use in making compensation decisions and is comprised of compensation policies, salary structures, salary grades, incentive target guidelines, job descriptions, and career charts.

  • This position’s Salary Range is: $60,000-70,000 (NOTE: this is the range at the national average level; specific salaries offered will be adjusted higher/lower due to the local labor market of the candidate).
