JOB REQUIREMENTS

4+ years of Plumbing and HVAC experience in multi-family/commercial work Strong understanding and knowledge of applicable HVAC and plumbing codes Ability to practice and improve upon specific leadership skills applicable to the position; past management and leadership experience required Certification in any safety or quality related field; college degree or Plumbing and HVAC certification required Exhibits UMC's Core Values in their daily life and professional practice Influences a culture of quality and promotes quality awareness through mentoring, coaching, and specific training sessions Experience as a trainer and the heart of a teacher; enjoys helping others progress and develop themselves individually and professionally Ability to assess and identify an individual's strengths, interests, and areas of improvement Ability to effectively and efficiently give constructive feedback that uplifts and inspires to do better and to be better Motivates and teaches team quality, ownership, safety, wellness, and cleanliness Exceptional time management; verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and other associated SharePoint applications Professional manner and strong personal ethical code Ability to remain motivated and positive, and help others to do the same Commitment to working efficiently and accurately; delivers excellence in workmanship All applicants are subject to a pre-employment drug screening Ability to effectively communicate in Spanish is a bonus Valid driver's license
