Denver Health Medical Center, Denver, CO is recruiting for a full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our collaborative and collegial team of physicians to work in the area of clinical cardiology and cardiac imaging. Candidates should have experience in advanced echocardiographic techniques, including transesophageal and stress echocardiography, 3D echocardiography, and strain imaging. This position is also responsible for duties as a general cardiologist. Activities include over-reading stress tests, ECG and remote monitoring interpretation, and clinical cardiology services (inpatient and outpatient). Denver Health is an integrated clinical program with the University of Colorado, and this position includes supervision of cardiology fellows. Faculty academic rank is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible to be considered. Level II echo training is required. Level III and/or NBE certification as well as nuclear experience is a plus.

Our expanding Heart and Vascular Team includes 3 interventional cardiologists and a 24/7 STEMI program, 2 electrophysiologists providing comprehensive rhythm management and Watchman devices, 7 noninvasive physicians and 5 advanced practice providers. Our cardiology group provides 24 hour inpatient CCU and consultative cardiology care on a teaching service.

The is designated for hospitals implementing specific quality improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology Foundation. The national designation is in part due to our team's research-based guidelines that speed patient recovery and improve patient results (improved patient outcomes).

Our noninvasive cardiologists are expected to diagnose illnesses, prescribe and administer treatment for people suffering from injury and/or disease and provide care in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. All serve as faculty members of the University of Colorado, School of Medicine. Core noninvasive cardiology responsibilities include inpatient clinical care, including primary and consultative care of critically ill patients, and outpatient clinical care. In addition, the noninvasive cardiologist will interpret stress tests, ecgs, Holter/Event monitors as well as noninvasive cardiac imaging services such as echo, nuclear, CT and MRI, based on an individual's training and expertise.
