Robert Half Senior Accountant in Denver, Colorado

Description We are looking for a talented individual to fill the role of a Sr. Accountant in Denver, Colorado. The primary function of this position is to manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end close, and reconciliations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for financial reporting and will need proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Prepare and enter journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Conduct month-end closing procedures and reconciliations.

• Prepare and present financial reports as required.

• Utilize Excel for data analysis and report generation.

• Leverage accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline accounting processes.

• Perform account reconciliations, including balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations.

• Maintain and update the General Ledger as necessary.

• Adhere to all accounting principles and standards to ensure compliance.

• Respond to and resolve any issues related to the accounting function. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Senior Accountant

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations is required

• Demonstrated ability to manage General Ledger and Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential

• Experience in Month End Close processes is necessary

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP software is required

• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required

• Professional certification such as CPA is a plus

• Must have the legal right to work in the hiring country.
