Job Description
As Server Administrator, you will support the technical needs of both internal and external customers to maintain the highest levels of server availability, performance, and growth all with the utmost respect, professionalism, and courtesy. You will research, evaluate, recommend, design, implement, and support current and new server technologies supporting overall infrastructure improvement.
Engineer, design, install, configure, and manage remote site servers Strong knowledge of VMware ESX and Microsoft Server Operating Systems Responsible for restoral of servers. Participate in Business Continuity Planning Data Archiving Engineering and Implementation. Responsible for customer service/relations with serviced companies. Escalation point for advance troubleshooting for Field Support Group Installation and configuration of network servers for local and remote access. Maintain current knowledge of backup and restore capabilities and advancements in the industry; including but not limited to protective actions against threats such as ransomware. Recommend ways to improve operations of company. Any other duties that may be assigned by direct supervisor or senior management.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.
A BA/BS degree with 2 years of experience and/or an Associate degree with 4 or more years' experience is preferred. Degree equivalency: 7 years' working experience in an enterprise IT environment in a Server Admin specific position
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to be able to present to a target audience Must be able to work flexible hours, including hours beyond the normal schedule when necessary; we operate in a 24x7x365 environment. Strong troubleshooting skills of very complex systems Excellent problem-solving skills in resolving issues with complex systems. Good end user presentation skills. Able to communicate technical information to users in a non-technical manner. Ability to travel is required Participate in after hours on-call rotation

Additional Information
Candidates with authorization to work in the United States and located or willing to travel to our Data Centers are encouraged to apply. This role will be a full time role, first shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Monday - Friday.
Salary Range: $60,000 - 80,000 varying on experience level, benefits, PTO and a company matching 401K plan.
