Codefied, Inc. d/b/a Housecall Pro seeks a Software Engineer II in Denver, CO.
Duties: Lead on our main Ruby on Rails application, iterating through fast-paced use cases. Design, develop, and test small features and push those features to production on a daily basis. Work on our Ruby on Rails application and its React front end. Work on our Android and iOS applications. Work with the Engineering team to develop and deploy features that provide customer outcomes. Write understandable and testable code. Collaborate with product managers to understand core customer problems, how to solve them, and estimate their complexity.
Up to 100% telecommuting permitted within the U.S.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field plus 1 year of experience in Software Engineering roles. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field plus 1 year of experience in Software Engineering roles, employer will also accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field plus any amount of experience in Software Engineering roles.
This position requires any amount of experience with the following skills:
- Writing meaningful, well-tested code;
- iOS, Android, Ruby on Rails, or Javascript/React; and
- Estimating, designing, and building a small epic end-to-end.
