In this role you will serve as the key point of contact for our customers, employees and clients. We are seeking a motivated and engaging person who enjoys multi-tasking, learning on the job, and providing simultaneous support in a materials management and purchasing capacit Job Responsibilities: This position will serve as warehouse support for the service and projects departments. Primary responsibilities: Pick up, stage, check in, verify, ship, and deliver material and tools to support the overall business (alarm, sprinkler, and suppression) in both a service and projects capacity.

Sourcing and procurement of materials to support the service repair business: Purchasing responsibilities will include sourcing, securing best pricing and delivery methods to meet material need dates, communicating internally with superintendents and service administrators so that work can be scheduled. Secondary responsibilities: Job site set up (tool and equipment staging) Tool and equipment management Project clean off (return of material w/ RMA disposition, return of tools and equipment off of projects) Inventory ordering, management and control Returns management Assistance with overall warehouse cleanliness & light maintenance: changing light bulbs, minor snow removal, etc. Work closely with field superintendents, field technicians, administrators, and sales people on a wide variety of tasks to deliver the right material on time for our field execution teams. Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience: Strong written and verbal communication skills required High School degree required - AA degree would be a plus. Experience in purchasing of construction materials is preferred - exp. with fire alarm and fire sprinkler components a plus. Experience/certifications for operating warehouse equipment (e.g. forklift) will be required. A clean driving record - operating a company provided shop truck for this role will be required. 3+ years of experience in a customer service role or in a warehouse setting strongly preferred but not required. Fire Protection or construction field experience a plus. Must be positive, flexible, reliable, responsive, self-motivated, able to multi-task and work both independently and in a team environment, and under deadline pressures. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills required. Candidate will be capable in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
