Roles & Responsibilities:

• • Oversee the development of designs for the following systems by the Containment/SA Systems team that adhere to the Final Concept Design: Containment Isolation, Hydrogen Management, In-Vessel Retention, and Severe Accident Depressurization.• As the team works to develop the system designs in accordance with the customer's gate review process, offer technical support.• Offer the containment team technical checking and assistance as needed.• The management of the containment system design progression programme and plan.assist the team make any important decisions and finish preliminary sizing calculations in order to produce high-quality outputs in the form of the design documentation pack, which includes the System Description, P&ID, FBoM, and Requirements package.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• • Knowledge of systems engineering concepts;• Knowledge of process engineering principles.• Solid grasp of pertinent fluid mechanics and thermodynamics phenomena, as design of SA systems is derived from analysis. Heat transfer, multi-species dispersion, choked flows, two-phase (steam-water) flows, pressure-relieving procedures, and sparging are among the phenomena.• Experience with component sizing calculations and pressure drop/incompressible fluid flow. Technical team leadership experience in a small engineering team. Minimum engineering/physics degree equivalent.
