Greetings, heroes of healthcare! I'm Anthony, your career compass from Adecco Healthcare. Adecco Healthcare is on a quest to find a Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic/(EMT-P) extraordinaire to join our client's plasma-powered dream team in Des Moines, Iowa .

Schedule (Rotating Shift):

• Tuesday-Friday: 6am-7pm

• Saturday: 9am-5pm

• Sunday: 7am-3pm

• Closed Mondays

Compensation:

$24-$27 per hour

Qualifications:

• Required: Paramedic or EMT-P Certification.

• Required: BLS certification.

• Preferred: Plasma knowledge.

• Preferred: Venipuncture skills .

Responsibilities:

• Assess donor eligibility, including managing informed consent, AIDS education, confidential self-exclusion, medical history interviews, acceptance criteria, physical examinations, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).

• Evaluate donor reactions according to SOPs at the facility. Adhere to SOPs for medical emergencies, including implementing Center Physician's standing orders and arranging donor transport to emergency care facilities.

• Consult with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on communicating unacceptable findings to donors, or for medical and technical issues related to donor safety and eligibility.

• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees when required.

• Manage employee incidents, determining if further evaluation by occupational health/ER is necessary. Follow EHS guidance on handling employee incidents.

• Act as a Pandemic Coordinator under EHS authorization, assisting in investigations related to pandemic threats within the local community as directed by EHS or Medical Affairs.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
