3D Artist At Ripple Effect, an evolution of Battlefield's DICE LA, we are building the AAA studio of tomorrow. The Role: As a 3D artist, you represent the foundation of our art enterprise. Along with our World Art team, you will bring our virtual worlds to life. We are looking for a 3D artist with a passion for making the digital realm just as real as the physical. You will craft photorealistic organic and hard surface structures complete with destruction under the guidance of our 3D Art Lead. This role will report to our Art Line Manager, based in our studio in Los Angeles, California. Responsibilities: Create strikingly realistic hard surface and organic models with destruction. Create a variety of 3D models (architecture, foliage, props) from photo references and concept art. Develop and document pipeline & workflow enhancements to ensure 3D asset cohesion. Attend field trips to capture reference photography and scans (photogrammetry) Refine art assets and help solve performance issues. Collaborate with the World Art teams to bring the creative leadership's vision to life. Skills We Look For: Excellent technical ability with a deep understanding of Maya, ZBrush, Blender, or similar 3D modeling software. Solid Houdini or procedural modeling software skills Deep experience working with physically based rendering pipelines. Experience with pushing asset fidelity and refining production techniques. High degree of self-motivation and initiative. Strong planning and prioritization skills. BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): $95,450 - $141,800 USD Annually
  • New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo): $89,200 - $141,800 USD Annually
  • Jersey City, NJ : $105,250 - $141,800 USD Annually
  • Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs): $89,200 - $118,550 USD Annually
  • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane): $89,200 - $130,750 USD Annually
