As a cybersecurity generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing comprehensive security solutions and experience across various domains, maintaining the protection of client systems and data. You will apply a broad understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices to address diverse security challenges effectively.

The Opportunity

As part of the Cybersecurity team you navigate interactions with clients and/or suppliers, including engagement and/or third-party vendor legal documentation and negotiation processes such as contracts, security schedules, service agreements, and proposal responses. As a Senior Associate you analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain rigorous standards. You focus on building client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context, while navigating increasingly complex situations and growing your personal brand.

Responsibilities

  • Navigate client and supplier interactions

  • Engage in legal documentation and negotiation processes

  • Manage contracts, security schedules, and service agreements

  • Respond to proposal requests and inquiries

  • Analyze complex cybersecurity issues

  • Mentor and support junior team members

  • Build and maintain enduring client relationships

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the business context

What You Must Have

  • High School Diploma

  • 2 years of experience

What Sets You Apart

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Understanding of IT security management frameworks, especially ISO 27001

  • Understanding of IT security fundamentals across multiple domains

  • Demonstrating functional knowledge of Client Contracts and Interaction

  • Resolving complex issues and conflicting interests with diplomacy

  • Working within tight deadlines

  • Embracing a rapidly changing environment

  • Contributing to the development of new knowledge and subject matter

  • Problem-solving via continuous application of independent judgment and collaboration

The salary range for this position is: $54,000 - $184,500, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
