POSITION SUMMARY
The Receptionist, internally titled Office Operations Coordinator, is the first point of contact for greeting, assisting, and providing direction to guests, clients, and vendors of the organization while providing exceptional guest service. This role performs administrative and office support to Bedrock’s main office in Downtown Detroit.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Greet, provide proper identification, validate parking, and assist in directing guests upon arrival to the organization
Monitor, track, and stock office supplies inventory and place orders, while meeting budget requirements
Assist in vendor relationship management and communication
Assists with the management of daily office operational activities, including administrative tasks, project tracking and maintaining documentation
Field incoming requests and questions from guests and team members and help prioritize tasks for the team
Resolve or escalate any minor customer complaints or issues
Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
Support other teams with various administrative tasks (redirecting calls, disseminating correspondence, scheduling meetings, etc.)
Collaborates with various internal groups to understand business requirements and implement processes
Coordinates onboarding requirements for new team members
Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports as necessary
All other duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Approximately 1-3 years of general work experience, preferably in an administrative support role
High school diploma or GED, or Vocational degree (required)
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Able to problem-solve at a basic level
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Able to work collaboratively with individuals or teams from all areas and levels of the organization
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel)
