BARANKO BROS INC Flagger/Laborer in Dickinson, North Dakota
Baranko Companies, a large earthwork contractor based out of Dickinson, ND, is currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Flagger to join our team. As a Flagger with Baranko Companies, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safe work zones and directing traffic at various civil engineering job sites. We are looking for an individual who understands the importance of safety and teamwork, and who is able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities
- Direct traffic at job sites using signals or hand-held signs
- Set up traffic control devices in work zones, including cones, signs, and barricades
- Communicate effectively with other workers, including heavy equipment operators, to ensure safety and efficiency
- Monitor traffic flow to ensure worker and public safety
- Stand for long periods of time in all weather conditions
- Remain alert and aware of oncoming traffic and potential hazards
Requirements:
- Ability to work in difficult and challenging weather conditions
- Familiarity with road and construction safety regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with drug and alcohol policies during employment
- Perform other related duties as needed.
