About the role

• Our Research and innovation Center team, composed of 45 people, is integrated in our industrial site in Dombasle.

• As a Research and development engineer you will work on our pilot activities with numerous projects focused on finding revolutionary processes aimed at reducing Solvay group's environmental footprint.

• You will be accountable for:

• Modeling and evaluating industrial processes in the field of chemical engineering, applied to inorganic chemistry

• Designing and supervising semi-industrial pilots within the research center, as well as occasionally abroad at Solvay sites or with our customers

• Identifying the most promising innovative technologies in response to environmental and societal challenges

• Supervising a pilot team composed of experiences technicians in the fields of chemical engineering and process engineering

• We offer a permanent contract based on onsite working mode.

About you

• Relevant education degree or equivalent in engineering specializing in process engineering or chemical engineering

• Relevant work experience in industrial design office preferably

• Competencies:

• Use of design software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, Solidworks

• Knowledge of digital systems such as Deltav Emerson or Siemens

• Experience in process safety phases (HAZOP method or equivalent)

• Behaviors:

About the pay and benefits

• Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country (France) base pay reasonably expected for this role is 48,000 euros to 59,000 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills

and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
