Legend Services Inc/Legend Services Pressure Control Belly Dump Driver - Douglas in Douglas, Wyoming
Legend Services, Inc. is an oilfield support, trucking and industrial services company, with locations in Rock Springs and Douglas, Wyoming. We are currently hiring CDL drivers for belly dumps, lowboy, flatbed, water truck, heaters or any other needs relevant to the position. Ideal candidates have knowledge and understanding of the operations of trucks and trailers (belly dumps, side dumps, pups, etc).
Responsibilities of a CDL Driver
- Adhere to the companys safety and health policy while following all safety regulations and precautions
- Adhere to DOT regulations
- Receive and follow directions from immediate supervisor in a professional manner
- Perform the daily maintenance requirements on the equipment as required/requested (i.e. greasing, small repairs, etc.)
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, filling out forms daily and submitting them to the dispatcher
- Drive truck to jobs and successfully completes customer requests in a professional and timely manner
- Accurately complete work tickets with correct job numbers, lease names, load times, unload times, miles traveled, drive time, wait time, material quantities, and other information as required
- Complete daily logs and submit them to the dispatcher each day
Qualifications of a CDL driver
- Two years experience working as a Class A Truck Driver
- Valid US Issued Commercial Drivers License
- Understand DOT regulations
- Clean driving record
- Medical Card
- Drug and Alcohol free
- Knowledge of the operation of the truck and trailers (belly dumps, side dumps and pup) that the company uses in its daily operations
- Physical ability lift and carry 50 pounds
- Availability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to work safely in all types of weather
- Ability to crawl under truck for inspection and greasing as required
- Ability to clean material out from box or trailer with shovel
- Ability to lift hood, check oil and coolant levels and all other inspection functions daily
