About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bartender to join the Food and Beverage Services team in Jumeirah Emirates Towers . Your key responsibilities will include:

• Identify and meet guests’ needs, provide appropriate bar services, and assist guests in recommendations, upselling where appropriate in order to provide knowledgeable and bespoke service.

• Recognize customer dissatisfaction promptly and take action to resolve the situation according to individual level of responsibility and guest feedback / complaint procedures to win back guest satisfaction.

• Complete day-to-day activities by following all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a quality service to guests and maintaining standards of excellence.

• Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environment procedures, instructions, and controls so that Company provides world class and

• luxurious hospitality services to its guests.

• Comply with quality expectations and standards.

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team to reach common goals.

• Maintain efficient workflow by adhering to the sequence of service and standards detailed in relevant F&B Standards Manual.

• Serve beverages according to defined standards and measures (according to local license agreements).

• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to beverage recipes.

• Ensure all drinks transactions are processed, registered, and settled.

• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.

• Setup the bar appropriately, ensuring the visuals and merchandise are placed appropriately.

• Undertake opening, closing & cleaning tasks as detailed on checklists.

• Coordinate with stewards to ensure equipment and bar area are always kept hygienically clean and tidy and sufficient glassware is available.

• Ensure the checking of expiration dates and that all perishable garnishes are stored and recorded in designated storage area.

• Adopt a responsible attitude towards serving of alcoholic beverages, to ensure safe consumption in line with company policy and regulatory requirements.

• Perform related tasks and duties as assigned and deemed responsible by management.

About you: .

  • Up to 2 years of experience, preferably with an international hospitality company

  • Experience of working in an international capacity and a clear understanding of cultural differences showcasing trust and respect for everyone

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Micros

  • Proficient in English (Read/Write/Speak – Essential)

  • Knowledge of additional language (Desired)
