Job Purpose:

The job holder will execute and manage project delivery activities for multiple projects as required for the delivery of the project by a set deadline to support business objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Oversee business projects, meticulously monitoring progress and completion with a proactive approach, ensuring timely delivery and maximizing project success.

  • Establish and diligently execute effective project communication plans that foster transparency and collaboration, swiftly resolving any anomalies during the completion phase to minimize disruptions and uphold project performance.

  • Facilitate change requests and inform stakeholders of the impacts on schedule and budget ensuring the project delivery schedule is aligned with business objectives.

  • Resolve issues that may arise during the course of the project for e.g. project schedule changes, inventory changes, quality and status changes, etc. incase of any plan deviations.

  • Follow up the implementation of the contractor's mitigation plan for the project along with execution plan, procurement and resources allocation to ensure that schedules are maintained within agreed timeframe.

  • Participate in design meetings with various Consultants working on the projects ensuring that project designs are followed and executed as per agreed business plan.

  • Monitor and advise Cost consultants to prepare Budget Validation estimates at every design stage to ensure efficient and compliant project management and budget management.

  • Work closely with Contractors and Consultants to ensure they are aligned and managed to deliver their scope of works on agreed timelines and budgets.

  • Serve as primary client relationship manager for projects, working closely with Chief of Projects and Clients to plan, execute, and troubleshoot issues that arise on projects.

  • Proactively monitor both known and unforeseen risks and value-impacting factors, keeping projects on track and exceeding expectations by implementing clear task lists, diligent issue tracking, informative status reports, and concise meeting notes, ensuring transparency and optimal decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Manage and control the actual cost verses budget on periodic basis and provide financial reports/data related to project financial performance and make informed decisions relevant to the project.

  • Build a network of development professionals, partners, and clients and navigate relationships in complex situations with professionalism and proactive problem-solving approach.

  • Provide technical support to the commercial team for key activities in areas of technical focus including information on estimates and budgets.

  • Gather and analyze relevant project information, consolidate and prepare qualitative and timely dashboard and MIS reports for management to make informed decisions.

  • Provide full support to the Team in the preparation of required Progress Reports and updates to Stakeholders.

  • Stay informed of emerging trends and innovations in the industry to identify potential opportunities for project optimization and ensure project delivery methods remain effective and competitive.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Civil Engineering

  • Professional certification in Project Management

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in construction or project management in related industry

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

  • Knowledge of Project Software Primavera or any relevant

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

  • Highly analytical and problem-solving skills
