About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Sales Manager to join our Sales and Marketing Team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Responsible for the delivery of all internal and external Service, Quality & Commercial performances as per Reservations KPI objectives

  • Work closely with Sales, Revenue and Hotel Operations Teams to maximize revenue opportunity and reduce operational inefficiency

  • Continuously sources new business through research of local media and market intelligence.

  • Continually evaluates markets and their needs, comparing them with existing products and services (keep abreast of market trends and economy).

  • Conducts in house site inspections and presentations to potential clients.

  • Carries out regular entertainments for existing and acquisition accounts.

  • Planning & delivering sales objectives for your SBU.

  • Be fully up to date with budgeted/actual/forecast targets of the SBUs as well as own segment and individual target.

  • Maintain and grow the positive customer and partner relationships.

  • Identify and communicate ideas and customer expectations from assigned segments and territory.

  • Responsible to continuously secure below and above the line marketing opportunities to position the brand and drive sales with trade partners.

About you:

We are seeking an individual to serve as the primary representative of Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab with government agencies across Dubai, the UAE, and the GCC. The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience as Reservations Manager or similar role in hospitality

  • Excellent knowledge of PMS systems

  • Experience in people management with exposure to managing a team of 6+ people

  • Communicates Effectively (eMail, Telephone – Listening Skills, Writing Skills and Verbal communication etc.)

  • Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic is essential, along with a deep understanding of regional nuances throughout the GCC

  • Team Player - Collaborates positively and effectively with others and team
