SUMMARY

As part of Corporate Processes and Information Technology (CPIT), the IT Strategic Central Service (SCS) team provides end-to-end strategy support. This includes driving all cascading efforts of the organizations strategic direction, based on SAPs corporate goal of delivering and running The Intelligent Enterprise. One of the SCS key areas is Software Asset Management (SAM).

As a Senior Consultant in SAM Compliance team, you will report to the SAM Compliance Manager. We are looking for an experienced professional in software compliance and software license management with a profound understanding of software asset lifecycle processes. You will focus on defining and executing operational, transformation and strategic initiatives, ensuring successful delivery of objectives to optimize SAP third party software portfolio and sustain SW compliance.

THE ROLE

In detail, you will:

  • Proactively define actions and drive execution based on SCS strategy and in accordance with SAP Global IT Asset Management Policy.

  • Drive Software Asset Compliance assurance throughout SAP with focus on mitigating potential risks associated with the use of 3rd party software.

  • Drive continuous improvements of existing Software Asset Compliance processes i.e., enforcement of SAP Global IT Asset Management Policy, software compliance campaigns, software evaluations.

  • Build and maintain sustainable relationships with other key stakeholders across SAP.

  • Work closely with SAM Compliance leadership, acting as trusted advisor.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • University Degree in Business Informatics / Business Administration/ Computer Science / Informatics/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Engineering or equivalent experience

  • Training & certification in Agile practices or Lean Six Sigma to support service transformation

  • Process & service definition and modelling

  • Experience in driving results in a complex, matrixed organization while maintaining collaborative partnerships

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, presentation and writing skills in English to successfully interact with colleagues and executive management alike

  • Ainity towards IT with a strong analytical mindset (Business Analysis/Data Analysis)

  • Advanced user of MS Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint), Jira or Azure DevOps

Preferred skills

  • Knowledge of Software Asset Management process operations & controlling

  • Experience with Software Asset Management IT solutions, e.g. Flexera One

  • Experience in Program, Project, or Service management

  • Experience in Risk assessment & management

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 8 yrs. professional work experience in IT consulting or IT services with a strong focus on projects or operations

Preferred experience

  • Work in IT Compliance or Software Portfolio Management

  • Experience in leading teams and developing talents

  • Work in international teams distributed across multiple time-zones
