We are seeking a(an) Phlebotomist for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Job Summary and Qualifications

The Phlebotomist is primarily responsible for accurate and timely collection of specimens across the facility.

What you will do in this role:

• Provide excellent quality patient care including patient communication, collection of samples, combining requisitions, checking for outstanding specimens, including microbiology and blood bank specimens.

• Responsible for answering lab phones; receiving all specimens (including pneumatic tube) and receiving /putting up supplies.

• Chart patient reports in a timely and accurate manner.

• Must possess a thorough understanding of all areas of operations within the laboratory; how the laboratory interacts with other hospital departments and outside customers.

What qualifications you will need:

• Must be able to multiple task effectively while maintaining a strong eye for detail.

• Prior phlebotomy experience, ideally in the hospital laboratory setting, is preferred.
