Google Senior Analyst, Tax in Dublin, Ireland

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, Accounting or equivalent practical experience.

  • Certified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor.

  • 7 years of experience analyzing tax legislation and accounting standards and synthesizing non-tax audiences.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in international tax issues relating to the multinational sector, including international tax compliance, advising on cross border transactions and transfer pricing, whether in industry, practice or both.

  • Ability to consistently produce work to an extremely high standard in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and advisors effectively.

  • Ability to take initiatives and owns results.

Made up of smart, perceptive Googlers with a flair for international taxes, the knowledge and expertise of the Google Tax team runs deep. You will manage international tax compliance obligations. You will find ways to work smarter, by automating and streamlining where appropriate, and find ways to be innovative while maintaining compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

  • Collaborate with external advisors, auditors and our partners across Google Finance to ensure accurate and timely corporation tax filings are completed for the EMEA region.

  • Assess and manage the impact of pillar 2 regulations for Alphabet's international entities. Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company's tax position.

  • Develop and maintain internal controls and processes to ensure continued compliance with regulations and tax laws.

  • Conduct research on complex tax issues, tax incentives and reliefs to provide guidance to executive management. Stay up to date on industry best practices and trends in the international tax compliance space.

  • Work closely with transfer pricing colleagues to collaborate on policy implementation and operationalization across the EMEA region. Assist on cross-functional projects, including Associate in Premium Auditing (APA) work and audits.
