Description

We are looking for a meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist based in Dublin, Ohio. This role primarily revolves around managing our accounting software systems and ensuring the accurate processing of accounts payable. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate financial records

• Handle accounts payable functions, ensuring all payments are processed in a timely manner

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and discrepancy management

• Operate Oracle cloud for various accounting functions

• Process checks, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution

• Address customer inquiries related to accounts payable

• Regularly review and update customer credit records

• Proactively resolve any issues related to customer credit accounts

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times

• Continuously improve and streamline accounts payable processes to increase efficiency.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Check Processing

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks

• Strong skills in identifying and solving Discrepancies
